Sedus silent rush: The swivel chair that comes with an integrated oasis of calm
With its unique, emotional design, silent rush, available as a swivel and lounge chair, responds to the hustle and bustle of everyday working life: it is an oasis of calm in the midst of the storm. A haven where you can retreat and concentrate. It is a source of strength and comfort. The chair for those who wish to be in greater command, calmer and more efficient – whilst still remaining in the thick of things.
Designers Mathias Seiler and Thilo Schwer created the swivel-chair family in a distinctive, organic style, paying particular attention to the upholstery. They form a stark contrast to the ever more transparent, skeletal and technical form of office chairs. The lounge look of “silent rush” creates a sense of home, which meets the changed expectations of the office as an important living environment. The swivel chair family is described in terms of qualities such as “comfortable” and “giving a feeling of security”, making it just right for the modern office, which, besides perfect functionality, must also offer emotionality since for so many people it has become the centre of their lives.
Technical features include a “Similar” mechanism with a large opening angle of 32 degrees, which is almost infinitely lockable.
The patented Sedo-Lift mechanism ensures optimal seat-depth springing, the well-shaped and height-adjustable lumbar support and the leather-finished armrests integrated into the backrest guarantee maximum comfort.
